Our boardmember, Jessica Heredia and many of her friends, have been busy making homemade Turkey Dinners with all the trimmings for 6 lucky pediatric cancer families again this year! Jessica has taken on this project for many years, and the deserving families who receive the meals each year are so grateful, as it takes one more thing off their plate, allowing them to put their full focus and attention on caring for their child with cancer.
Many of these families are struggling with financial issues as the caregiver parent takes time off work to care for their child, and income is often cut in half, making it difficult to afford extra costs.
Thank you Jessica and team for spoiling these families. You have another successful Thanksgiving Meal Delivery under your belt!
