June was Car Show Month with two great car show fundraisers benefiting Megan's Wings.
Cool classic cars, great craft beer, food trucks, vendor booths, the Life Stream Blood Mobile and an awesome raffle made for a great event at the Cruising Route 66 with Aliya Car Show at Last Name Brewing on June 12! This FUNraiser was hosted and supported by Aliya's family and friends to honor Aliya, a sweet and caring Ontario 12 yr old who is undergoing treatment for childhood leukemia. Faithful supporters raised $2625 for Megan's Wings Gas Assistance Program. Last Name Brewing is also donating a percentage of the beer sales which is still pending. Proceeds from this event were supposed to help Aliya's family with bills, but Aliya's family chose to pay it forward and help other childhood cancer families who need it more. Many are struggling with the current high gas prices and must travel over 50 mi to get their child to treatment weekly. Thank you Aguirre Family and Last Name Brewing for an awesome fundraiser!
